Anyone a Shepard?

Well today was nice, fixed up the house, took the nephews out for Ice Cream, had a birthday party for them. Sounds calm right. Then you know the whole hillside catches on fire, and some cop is an ass to me, go figure. Bringing me to my topic of the night. Free Thinking. Is it a thing of the past. Have we all just become sheep in this world. A cop stops me on the way back to my house tonight because he has blocked the road because of a fire. I tell him I was just down the road and the fire is a mile and a half from where he is and blowing the opposite direction. He tells me I don't know where the fire is but I was told to block this. And apparantly this is all he can say over and over again. So I do like any normal free-thinking person would do. I drive around the retard. The problem I see is not that he was blocking the road, it was for our safety, it's the fact that he didn't learn, or question, or even begin to realize that he was wrong. Shouldn't the sane person say, that's a really good point, lemme get on the radio and see what I can do, maybe I am in the wrong spot. But no, cops are just full of themselves and only do what they are told. They couldn't possibly be wrong. And to dive further into my point, what saddens me more are the throngs of people parked there obeying him. He was just so obviously wrong, in fact I would be willing to put money that he was supposed to block the road further down, but once again he is right and wouldn't question him. Back to those who were waiting. To you I say, you are living in fear. Fear has you prisoner. I got into my car and drove right around that cop. What do you think happened. NOTHING. I went home and had a good night admiring the fire that wasn't even close enough to my house, that was half a mile from the blockade, to even smell smoke. Stand up for yourself, question what you are told, exercise your mind. Plus what was the worst that could happen. Was that cop really gonna abandon the road blockto chase me, he was the only one there. And even if he did, he would have stopped me half a mile up at my very much so not anywhere near the fire street, then he would have realized what a dumbass he was and I would have freed all those people behind me. Think of all the good that would have come. So stand up for yourselves, question what you are told, and most of all exercise your mind, thats what it is there for, be a shepard and watch others do your will.

Al Gore

My friends keep speaking of some movie by Al Gore, and how revolutionary his thoughts are on global warming...as if it is a new topic. Well, the movie is An Inconvenient Truth, actually, it was originally a book. here is a link The premise I assume is that it is hot, and we are all going to die because of the shrinking glaciers and rising water levels. Bull. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt. But not for long. It will be out Nov. 21 though I suppose this is functioning more like a plug, I'll do it anyways. Watch the movie, I will and then I will write what I think about it. Probably that it is a bunch of pessimistic crap that I don't want to hear. However, unlike my easily conviced friends, I will present a cohearant arguement as to why their claims are incorrect. From there beleive whoever you like, me or Al Gore, but in the end, 10 years from now when the world hasn't ended, like I am sure Al Gore claims, everyone will know that I was right.

The Beginning

Well this is the first one, I think that I am going to keep this separate from everyone that I know and see if someone finds it.
